Waste
Stream Evaluation
Before
any waste stream can be collected and disposed of, it must be correctly
identified and none more so as those which come under the heading
of "hazardous" waste. Where possible,
we will use your data sheets to correctly identify the waste products.
However, where this is not possible, our qualified (usually a chemist)
technical sales representative will take samples for analysis.
Handling,
Packaging and Labelling
Whether
you require bulk collection or have small quantities held in IBC's,
drums or laboratory bottles, we can provide safe and cost effective
collection and disposal. Where the waste requires re-packaging,
re-drumming or over drumming prior to transportation, our team of
experts will carry out this function on your behalf. In addition,
all relevant documentation and labels will be supplied by CSG.
Treatment,
Disposal and Recycling
Our
plant and transfer station at Manchester is licensed to handle a
wide range of waste streams, including: acids, alkalis, solvents,
organic materials, hazardous solids and oil based products.
Processes include: recovery, recycling, physico-chemical treatment,
secondary liquid fuel supply and transfer for incineration.
Hazardous Waste Regulations
hazardous waste regulations came into effect on 16 July 2005 and will effect all CSG customers who produce hazardous waste.
